Yeon-joo learns from her friend and Seong-moo's assistant cartoonist Park Soo-bong Lee Si-eon that her father went missing while drawing the last chapter of W in which Kang Chul is bound to die. Aw, Usui Takumi and Tamaki are among my favorites. Yeon-joo says that her father never divulges story information, but when Crazy Dog offers to let her cut open AND sew back together the next open-chest surgery, she runs off to squeeze some spoilers out of Dad. I am not familiar with the actress but I see now why people like her.

It's bad timing to be putting forward a sub-par episode if it's competing with W for the time slot. Let's find another thread and fan girl together!!!! I would need to "read" the whole 33 volumes of W, to fall in love with Kang Chul, and to turn me into one of his rabid fans. The direction, the tension was on point and I loved everyone. And I liked that she's only an okay doctor, and not wholly confident in what she's doing.

I told as many as I could about this drama and that there was too many factors that just screamed to me that it HAD to be good. I mean, she's not got very high self-esteem and she just saved the life of her comic book hero using a BIRO. Meet the community members dedicated to bringing you the subtitles for this channel. I can't even describe it in words. What a strong first episode! I thought it was clever how the writer used the fact that Kang Chul was a famous fictional character within the story to have Yeon-joo narrate and give us his abbreviated backstory. I love the character in both worlds and I'm looking forward to unraveling the multiple mysteries this drama has to offer. Kang Chul picks Dad up and whirls him around in a victory cheer. Stuff like the really clearly-enunciated and specific things shouted in the courtroom - I can completely imagine those words being shouted from off-panel in a comic, but it's just that tiny bit odd to hear in a "real" world. I think the webtoon should have ended there.
